The 2nd-generation Sentinels (also known as G2s) are all-rounders that cover a range of different roles at once, specializing in neither. However, they also have a number of unique armaments that allow them to fulfill roles the other Sentinel models cannot. Here are the best armaments of choice for G2 Sentinels available to get.
10 Heavy Knuckles
One of the G2 Sentinels’ no-cost options for attacks is a heavy two-hitting close-ranged attack. This move does a large amount of damage for no cost, making it a good way to quickly recover EP for more essential armaments and weapons.
The Heavy Knuckles are a basic armament for the G2 Sentinels and will be frequently used early on in the game. However, as more useful and more powerful armaments become available, the Heavy Knuckles are unlikely to see more use outside of quickly recovering EP.
9 Multi Rocket Launchers
A long-range attack that hits both aerial and ground kaiju in a large radius. The Multi Rocket Launchers are one of the G2 Sentinels’ many ranged options and can hit a large number of kaiju in a single instant, making it good for crowd control.
Unlike the many armaments available to the Sentinels, the Multi Rocket Launchers do not increase in damage when upgraded. However, they are still useful due to their range and area of effect, allowing them to still be useful even in the endgame.
8 Repair Emitter

6 Shield Emitter

While the Shield Emitter can also be destroyed, it is also able to shield itself, protecting it from damage.
Like Repair Emitter, Shield Emitter is useful in situations where unavoidable damage is expected. It is slightly better because it blocks damage instead of simply healing it, and it is usually unnecessary to run both options at the same time.
5 Anti-Ground Piercing Rocket Launchers
The Anti-Ground Piercing Rocket Launchers are an armor-piercing version of the Multi Rocket Launchers, although these can only hit grounded kaiju. 3 Plasma Arc Fusion Cutter
This armament is extremely expensive but is at the same time incredibly powerful. This is the strongest move available to G2 Sentinels and is armor piercing as well. While the attack does not hit aerial kaiju, this is a fairly small issue.
Despite its strength, it may not see much use on G2 Sentinels since they tend not to wade into enemy waves fairly often. Its massive cost can also make the move difficult to use. Still, it is a valuable move that can deal massive damage in an instant.
2 Hyper Condenser
Hyper Condenser is a passive armament that only certain characters can obtain. For the G2 Sentinels, only Ryoko Shinonome is able to obtain this upgrade. This upgrade allows her to drop two Sentry Guns at the same time in exchange for extra EP.

The Sentry Guns are the most powerful weapons in the game. They are automatically attacking turrets that fire off a powerful railgun shot. They are deceptively powerful, and can easily hold back waves of kaiju on their own.
Each Sentinel can place a maximum of eight Sentry guns, making the efficacy of this armament that much better. It’s possible to use Sentry Guns alone to clear entire missions, and their strength only begins to wane in post-game missions.
